Pamela Ross, 62, of Roodhouse passed away Wednesday morning, May 20, 2015, at her residence.
She was born June 19, 1952, in Springfield, IL the daughter of Richard and Margaret Hermina Smith Jr. She married Greg Ross on June 22, 1974, in Mason City, IL and he survives.
She also is survived by her children, Travis (wife, Victoria) Ross of St. Charles, MO, and Tracy (husband, Shane) Moore of Edwardsville, IL; three grandchildren, Phoebe Ross, Alexis Ross and Dakota Moore; and one brother, Larry (wife, Marilyn) Smith of Newburgh, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Georgia Smith.
Pam worked alongside her husband on the family farm and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Palmyra, IL. She enjoyed reading the Bible, gardening, her flowers, feeding the birds and crocheting.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at Grace Baptist Church in Palmyra. The family will meet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the church. Private burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview, IL will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Grace Baptist Church or Blessing Hospice.
