Kimberly Kidd, 43, of Evington, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born on September 25, 1971, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Sylvia Parker Kidd of Evington and the late Douglas Jennings Kidd. She attended Salem United Methodist Church. Kimberly was blind but loved to listen to books, the TV, and music.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Dakoda Jennings Kidd; her brothers, Scottie Ray Kidd and wife, Patricia, of Rustburg and Johnnie Mac Kidd and wife Heather of Evington; her sister, Christie Wingfield and husband, Steve, of Lynchburg; three nieces; three nephews; and numerous cousins and other family members.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Salem United Methodist Church in Evington, with Pastor Chuck Schooler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of Sylvia Kidd.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Markita Sandige for her support during Kimberly's illness.
