Ane Anderson

Bear River City - Mrs. Ane Margrethe Pederson Anderson, 83, of Bear River City, died this morning in the Cooley Memorial Hospital in Brigham City after an extended illness.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the LDS Church and had served in the Relief Society.

She was born Dec. 8, 1872, in Broby, Soro, Denmark, a daughter of Hans and Maren Pederson. She came to the United States when 8 years old and lived at the home of Willard Hansen in Brigham City. Her family later joined her. She was reared and educated in Bear River City.

On Sept. 29, 1891, she was married to Nephi Anderson in Brigham City. He died in 1951.

Surviving are six sons and daughters, Mrs. Roy (Pearl) Elwell and Mrs. Lenard (Muriel) Sorenson, both of Bear River City; Mrs. Melvin (Meltrude) Nelson, Corinne; Mrs. Joe (Charlotte) Zito, Ogden; HOmer Anderson, San Leandro, Calif.; Mrs. Kenneth (Ethelyn) Sargeant, Las Vegas; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the LDS Bear River Ward by Bishop Vernon Johnsen.

Friends may call at the Harold B. Felt Funeral Home Sunday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and at the family home Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Bear River Cemetery.
