Born June 3, 1950, in Gloversville, N.Y., the devoted daughter of Richard and Doris V. Lewis, she was a member of the Genoa-Kingston High School Class of 1968 and a graduate of Northern Illinois University.
She is survived by her family, friends and her special "circle of friends."
Sue will be remembered for her kind heart, her warm smile, her beautiful white hair and her marvelous sense of humor.
A celebration of Sue's life will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Doris V. Lewis nursing scholarship fund, in care of Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178.
