KINGSPORT-Ms. Roselene Bond (Rose) Leona Bond, 1018 E. Sevier Avenue, departed this life Monday (March 30, 2009) and went home to be with her Lord.
She was born in Sullivan County (Horse Creek) and lived in Kingsport all of her life. She retired from ITT. She was a lifelong member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank Mountain States home Health Services and the nurses that provided care.
Ms. Bond was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred and Virginia Bond, four brothers, Mr. Eldridge (Bud) Bond, Mr. Oscar S. Bond, Mr. Milton Bond and Mr. Matthew Bond; four sisters, Mrs.Louvenia Bond Beason, Mrs. Theresa Bond Dykes, Mrs. Olivia Bond Lockett and Mrs. Lenora Bond Bowditch.
OMITTED SURVIVORS
The family will receive friends from 11 AM to noon Saturday at the Shiloh Baptist Church.
Services will follow with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Calvert officiating.Burial will follow at the Pierce Chapel Cemetery, immediately following the services.
Ms. Bond and family are in the care of R.A. Clark Funeral Service, Inc.
