Lawrence J. Fleming, 59, of Glendale Heights and formerly of Streator passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015.
A private family committal service will be held at a later date at St. Anthony Cemetery, Streator.
The Solon-Telford Funeral Home assisted the family.
Born December 8, 1955 in St. Petersburg, Florida he was the son of Ann (Corcoran) Fleming and Joseph Brooks.
He is survived by a sister, Marge (Donald) Redd of Streator; his aunt and uncle, Frank and Audrey Moglia of Florida; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step father, Ann and Ben Davis.
He attended St. Mary’s Grade School and Streator High School. He earned a degree in Nursing from Illinois Valley Community College.
He worked for various healthcare facilities through the years as a nurse.
He lived and worked in the Streator and Bloomingdale area most of his lifetime.
