Rebecca Lane March was born February 19, 1845 in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Benjamin March and Sara A. Bush March. In 1860, she was living with her parents and siblings in Kimberton, East Pikeland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.

On Nov. 10, 1866, Rebecca March married George wilson Stiteler, probably in Chester Count, Pennsylvania. They moved to the Philadelphia area prior to 1872.

The couple had eight children: Rena M. (1868-1956); Susannah Deery (1869-1904); Katurah March (1872-1890); Ellington Randolph (1874-1945), Clara Viola (1877-1967); Joseph Miner (1881-1908); George Cleveland (1884-1905); and Harry E. (1887-1970).

Rebecca was widowed in 1898. In 1900, she was still living in Philadelphia and had seven children living with her. Daughter, Katurah, died in 1890.

Rebecca continued to live in the Philadelphia area. Rebecca March Stiteler died September 5, 1931 in Douglass, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
