"Harold 'Chuck' Trester, 76, 463 W. Sarnia St., died Thursday (Nov. 24, 1983) at the Community Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 8, 1906 in Winona County to Herman and Augusta Keelock Trester.

He was a farmer in Hart township for many years and was also a musician for the Silver Stars Band. An area resident all his life, he moved to Winona in 1965. He married Gertrude A. Papenfuss on Oct. 14, 1927 at Winona.

He was a member of St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife and one brother, Raymond Trester, Rushford.

One son, two brothers and two sisters have died.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. Richard Krenzke officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday at Martin Funeral Home with devotional services there at 8:45 p.m. and at noon Monday until time of services at the church.

A memorial is being arranged."
