CLAXTON: Ella Veatrice (Bea) Kicklighter Holland of Thomasville, Ga., passed away May 17, 2015, after a short illness of natural causes. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Bea was married to the late, Tyrone Lance Holland and lived for several years in Florida before returning to Evans County in 1970. She was a secretary and office manager for most of her career. She was retired. Bea was a member of the Martha Washington Chapter #300 of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron in 1997-1998. She also was a member of the Evans County Lions Club and received Lion of the Year in 2000. Bea also received the Melvin Jones Fellow award from the Lion Foundation for year 2001-2002. These organizations were very dear to her heart. Any donations to either of these organizations, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated.

Bea's hobbies included her beloved organizations noted above, reading and spending time with family and friends. Bea was a loving woman who will be missed greatly by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Ebben and Mary Akins Kicklighter, one sister, Mary Evelyn Collins, two brothers, James William (J.W.) Kicklighter and Edwin Harold Kicklighter.

VISITATION: Wednesday, May 20, 2015, 5-7:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Thursday, May 21, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Antioch Baptist Church.

BURIAL: Antioch Baptist Church cemetery.
