Willie Elwood Isaac, age 94 , a resident of Route 460 East in West Liberty, Kentucky; passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Willie was born May 4, 1928 in West Liberty, Kentucky the son of the late Irey and Dora Isaac. Wife, Flora Cook Isaac, brothers, Bill Joe Isaac, Jesse Isaac, Hass Isaac, Bradley Wireman, and sisters, Julie Brown, Myrtle Vanderpool, Irene Brown, Martha Wireman also preceded in death. Willie was employed, along with his wife, as shoe store merchants. They sold and repaired shoes until their retirement. Willie proudly served his country in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged. He is a Veteran of the Korean War. Those left to mourn includes multiple nieces, nephews, and family members who will love and miss him. Funeral services for Willie Isaac will be conducted Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Paul Brown will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Isaac Family Cemetery on Route 460 East in West Liberty, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Friday, April 7, 2023 after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to funeral services.
