Margaret A. (McCormick) Williams, age 91, of Southbury, and formerly of Bridgeport, died on Saturday, August 14, 2004, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Richard J. Williams. Mrs. Williams was born on August 10, 1913, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late James M. and Jesse (Cornell) McCormick. She worked at Park City Packaging Co. in Bridgeport until her retirement in 1977. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and crocheting. She leaves one son, Mike Williams of Southbury; one daughter, Linda McCoy of Daytona Beach, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her son, Richard J. Williams Jr., died in 1953. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael"s Catholic Church, Maple Avenue, Beacon Falls. Burial in St. Michael"s Cemetery, Stratford. Calling hours on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, 1275 Mamaroneck, White Plains, NY 10605.
