Services for J. Ector Wells, 86, of North Turkey Creek Road, Rt. 2 Leicester, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday (February 11, 1975) at Beulah Baptist Church, of which he was a member.
The Revs. Charlie Freeman and Don Austin will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn Freeman, Carroll Teague, Jesse, Andrew and Larry Jones and Billy Gillespie.
He was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and a retired farmer. He was the son of the late John and Lina Parham Wells.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Harriett Day of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
The body will remain at Groce Funeral Home until placed in the church 30 minutes before services.
