Pamela Faye Sanders, age 62, passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Solace Assisted Living in Sierra Vista, Ariz. Pam had been battling cancer for several months.
She was born in Bisbee, Ariz., then Pam’s family moved to Elfrida, Ariz., where she attended school, graduating from Elfrida High School. Pam attended Cochise College and graduated from Northern Arizona University.
Pam’s life was dedicated to teaching. After graduating from NAU, she taught for five years at Naco Elementary School. For the last 35 years she taught at Double Adobe Elementary School. When she retired in July 2014, she was the head teacher at Double Adobe.
She attended First Southern Baptist Church in Warren, Ariz.
Pam is survived by her mother, Peggy Sanders; and numerous aunts, cousins, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John W. (Bill) Sanders.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at 11:00 a.m at the McNeal Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jensen’s Sierra Vista Mortuary.
