Annette Coppersmith Dixon, 74, of 144 Golf Club Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at Albemarle Hospital. Born in Pasquotank County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Elisha and Florence Ballard Coppersmith and was the wife of Jimmie Dixon of the home. Mrs. Dixon was a member of The First Baptist Church, The Pines Ladies Golf Group, and the Museum of the Albemarle Auxiliary, and was a past member of the Jaycee-ettes. She was the secretary and treasurer of City Beverage Company, Inc.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dixon is survived by her children, Jeff Dixon and wife Dorothy and their children, Matthew and Kyndall, of Elizabeth City, NC; Mike Dixon and wife Bridgette and their child, Britney Luton and husband Bill, of Elizabeth City, NC; and J.T. Dixon and wife Jackson and their children, Victoria, James and Caroline, of Southern Shores, NC; her great-grandson, James Duncan; and her sister, Ava Coppersmith Morton and husband Daniel of Raleigh, NC.
