Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Moody, recently married, were complimented recently with a part at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee R. Jenkins, 805 East Powell Avenue. Mrs. Moody is the former Miss Frankie Carpenter.
Refreshments were served to Misses Beulah Raper, Whynama Myers, Marie Anderson and Helen Graves; Mmes. Lanier Myers and Maggie Gillig; Messrs. C. C. Moody and Chris Anderson; Messrs. and Mmes. George Keenum, L. R. Smith Jr., W. E. Anderson and Chester Moody.

Mrs. Beulah Raper Moody, 73, of 3012 Canberra Ct. died early Friday in a hospital after a one-week illness.
Mrs. Moody was born in Logan County, Ark., and moved to Weatherford with her parents when she was 2. She moved here almost 40 years ago. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lanier Myers of Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Guardian Chapel.
