WOODRUFF, Utah—Services for Delmore Weldon (Doug) Eastman were Monday, Jan. 8 at the LDS Woodruff Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Eastman Cemetery at Woodruff, Utah.

Eastman, 77, died Thursday, Jan. 4, in Evanston.

He was born Oct. 16, 1912 in Woodruff, Utah, a son of Marshall Vincent and Eliza Tryphenia (Cook) Eastman.

He married Leath Virginia Bruce Nov. 7, 1934 in Woodruff. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a cattle rancher and former Rich County Commissioner. He was a county road supervisor, town board member and drove a school bus for 18 years.

Survivors include his wife, Leath, Woodruff; sons, Jay of Mountain View, Dan of Woodruff, Paul of Rock Springs; daughters, Faye Connelly and Ilene Matthews, both of Evanston and Renae Call, Randolph, Utah; brothers, Wayne, Centerville, Utah, William of Woodruff, Gean of Long Beach, Clarence, West Valley Cit, Utah and George, Salt Lake City; a sister, Melba South, Salt Lake City; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Weldon Bruce and Dennis C. Eastman.
