He graduated from Senior High School in Billings and later joined the Army. After being honorably discharged, he returned to Billings. He married his wife Maryann Evertz on Jan. 17, 1959. Together, they farmed and ranched in the Billings/Hardin area. In 1970, they moved to Joliet where they currently reside.
Clyde is survived by his wife Maryann; four sons, Kelly (Lana) Finley of Cortez, Colo., Mike Finley of Joliet, Mitch (Beth) Finley of Richmond Hill, Ga., and Shawn (Lynnell) Finley of Whitefish; two daughters, Kim (Don) Fowler of Worden, and Michelle (Marvin) Wallace of Slidell, La. Clyde has 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is also survived by three brothers, Ken (Esther) Finley, Gordon (Ethel) Finley, and Charles (Rene`) Finley; and two sisters, Marjie Gillison and Katherine Bentz, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Ira; one brother, John Robert; and one sister, Mary Louise.
Vigil services for Clyde Finley will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, at St. John's Catholic Church in Joliet. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, at St. John's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal with Military Honors will follow mass at Joliet Cemetery. The casket is open for visitation at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to the Joliet Community Center or the charity of one's choice. Michelotti-Sawyers is in charge of arrangements.
