Katherine Marie Cox, age 89 of Fulton, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the University Hospital in Iowa City.

Katherine was born on December 6, 1925 in Jerseyville, IL to Robert and Florence (Clain) Suttler. She married Thomas Cox on January 27, 1942; he preceded her in death on March 16, 2010. Katherine enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, traveling and most of all spending time with her family. She had a love for animals, especially her dog Buddy.

Survivors include one daughter, Celia (Clyde) Huling of Fulton, IL; four sons, Larry (Peggy) Cox of Morrison, IL, Thomas R. (Linda) Cox of Bellevue, IA, Howard (Cindy) Cox of Clinton, IA and Craig (Sandy) Cox of Eldridge, IA; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Mark; two sisters, Betty and Bernice and one brother, Vernie

Visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 10:30-11:30 A.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton. Funeral service will be follow at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fulton Township Cemetery.
