Brian graduated from Gobles High School, and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University. He taught Middle School and High School in Covert for 14 years, most recently working for Johnson Controls in Holland. He loved the students in Covert, calling them "my kids". He enjoyed auto racing, coaching football at Covert, and many trips to parks and beaches, with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, his daughter, his mom and dad, his brother, his mother and father-in-law as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Joe and Agnes Ochampaugh, and Harold and Hannah Beach.
Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 11 a.m. till service time at 1 p.m., at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Interment in Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp. Memorials may be made to Brian's wife, Heather, for Hannah's Education fund.
