Clarence Eugene Peeples, 63, died at his home in Fairfax early this morning after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Wednesday from the graveside in Fairfax Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs Bridie Woods Peeples; two sons, Joe L Peeples and Miles E Peeples, both of Hampton; four daughters, Mrs Hilda Peeples Joy Kmetz of Charleston, Mrs Elizabeth Peeples Graham of Fairfax, Mrs Ethel Peeples Ellison of Greenwood and Mrs Viree Peeples Moseley of Varnville; one sister, Mrs Ida Peeples DeLoach of Varnville; and 19 grandchildren.
