LAUBER, Leo Bernard (Veteran WWII - North Shore Regiment) Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at Twin Oaks of Maryhill on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in his 97th year.
Beloved husband of the late Reta (nee Brohman). Loving father of Barb Gingerich and her husband Keith. Cherished Grandpa of Michael Gingerich and his wife Suzanne, and Carla Rutledge and her husband Greg. Adored great-grandfather of Amelia, Jocelyn and Michael.
Dear brother of Mary Ann and the late Rose, Alice, Eileen, Loretta, John, Norman, Herb, Betty, Emma, and Jeanette. Survived by his sisters-in-law Marjorie and Margie.
Uncle Leo will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Leo's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish Prayers 7 p.m. Sunday.
Prayers will also be offered at the funeral home on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 9:20 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Boniface Church, 1354 Maryhill Rd. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Maryhill Community Centre.
