Evelyn L. Martin Faulkner, 93, widow of Thomas A. Faulker, died Thursday, May 14, 2015. Born in Owenton, Kentucky, October 21, 1921, she was the daughter of Rufus and Florence Martin.
Survivors are her three children, Nancy J. Thornton, William R. Faulkner and Robert T. Faulkner; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother, Buford Martin.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Roscoe Martin and one great grandchild, Charles Thornton.
Evelyn was a realtor in Lexington for 40 plus years. She served as WCR for a term and was named WCR Woman of the Year in 1984. She retired to Naples Florida and returned to Kentucky in 2013 to be near her family.
Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.
