Fred Butler, 59, of Perdido Key, passed away unexpectedly at Baptist Hospital on May 12, 2015. "Freddy" was a jack of all trades, his latest trade was being a marine mechanic. He loved the water, camping, fishing, helping others, sarcasm and being right even when he wasn't. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed having good times with them. He is survived by his wife Laurie Bass, his children Joseph Wade Butler, Jennifer Faulk and Kaylee Butler, his grandchildren Kyra, Manaia, Elizabeth, Alex and Ana and his great-grandchild Yuna.The Memorial Service will be today at Point Baptist Church, 13801 Innerarity Point Rd, Pensacola, FL 32507. The family will receive friends at 1:30pm; the memorial service will begin at 2pm.
