Grady Harold Martin, 77, was born on July 20, 1937 to the union of Grady and Lucille Martin in Dallas, Texas. He entered into eternal life on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Cypress, Texas. Grady served diligently as a Deacon in the Baptist Church. He became a President at one of the most prominent construction companies and was highly respected as a man of integrity and honesty. Grady had a passion for gardening, carpentry, construction, hunting and fishing.
Grady is reunited with his parents, Grady Pierce Martin and Otha Lucille Martin. He leaves to cherish fond memories, his devoted wife of 56 years, Allie Caroline Martin; children, Becky Broz and husband Craig, Michael Martin and wife Irene, Lisa Loverdi and husband Joseph Loverdi III and Jana Powers and husband Dustin; sisters, Margaret Rush and Jan Caraway; grandchildren, Krystal Nail, Michelle Mitcham, Courtney Karlonas, Allie Martin, Sean Broz, Joseph Loverdi IV, Stephen Martin, Valerie Loverdi and Caleb Powers; 10 great grandchildren and numerous relatives and dear friends.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The Celebration of Grady's Life will be Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Lance Waldie officiating. All services will be held in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Grady will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
