NEW LEXINGTON: Kevin B. Owen, Sr., 53 of New Lexington passed away Sunday April 12, 2015. He was born March 25, 1962 in Shawnee the son of Shirley Vanwey Owen and the late Fred H. Owen. He was employed at Residential Inc. of New Lexington; he was sports fanatic and especially loved the Buckeyes, Browns and Reds. Besides his mother he is survived by his fiancée, Pam Rucker; his children, Kevin (Kristina) Owen JR, Dana (Lacey) Owen, Amanda (Joseph King) Owen, Ashley Owen, Dylan Owen, Missie (Keith) Mills and Cherri Shoults Taylor; siblings, Glenna Owen, Vickie (Terry) Brown, Randy Owen and Tammy (Bill) Finck; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his great- grandson, Aiden. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the J. E. Humphrey Funeral Home 118 W. Walnut Street Shawnee with Rev Ernest Eing officiating. Interment: Maplewood Cemetery, New Lexington. Friends may call from 2-4pm and 6-9pm on Thursday, April 16, at the funeral home.
