Jodi (Haden) Thomas, of North Zulch, Texas passed away at her home Thursday, May 14, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was sixty-seven years old. A private interment will be held at a later date near Marshall, Texas.
Jodi (Haden) Thomas was born on August 5, 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jodie & Marie (Williams) Haden. She and her husband, Larry, lived in the Marshall area and moved to North Zulch in 1980. Jodi was a people person. Her favorite thing to do was to drive into town and visit with people while she was doing her shopping and other business. She had many friends and didn’t know a stranger. Jodi was a loving mother and grandmother and was raising one of her grandchildren. She was about to see her granddaughter graduate from high school when she fell ill. Jodi was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by faithful husband, Larry Thomas of North Zulch; sons, Kris & Randall Thomas; daughters, Nell Haden, Misty Ivey and Lisa Thomas; a granddaughter who was like a daughter, Alisha Thomas; brothers, Bobby & Tommy Haden of Marshall and ten grandchildren. Additionally, Jodi is survived by numerous cousins, friends and her furry companion, “Pretty Girl.” Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas is in charge of all arrangements.
