Ada was united in holy matrimony to the late John Thomas Washington and to this union one son was born. Later, she married Mr. Horace Battle who also preceded her in death. Survivors: one daughter, Loretta Choice; one daughter-in-law, Magdalene Washington; 5 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 27 great-great grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
