Two adjacent cemetery plots marked Lamb exist at South Hollow Cemetery, in what's now Granville, what was once called Kingston. There is no first name , no dates. Do they belong to him and his wife?

Their findagrave ID are:: 63749423 and 63749424, attached to sites in row 1, columns 23 and24.,

Some confused him with his younger brother Nathan, who died Sept 17, 1817, in Corinth VT (Orange County). Note that Nathan died after Censuses of 1800 and 1810 named him at that place, the 1820 not naming him, as he was deceased.

The date of death and burial could not be found for Jonathan. However, Jonathan and son Jonathan Jr were separately named as heads for the 1790 Census, in what was still Kingston, VT, in Addison County. Someone named Jonathan Lamb remained there for the 1800, 1810 and 1830 Censuses at Kingston, the place renamed Granville in 1833, with some Jonathan Lamb's last Census then found at Granville in 1840.

No one was called Jonathan Jr in the Censuses 1800 onward, so Sr may have died between the 1790 and 1800.

An old town history of Kingston/Granville said the big flood of 1832 wiped out most of Kingston. It occurred when an accidentally formed dam broke, causing much damage, barns, houses gone. The town voted to change is name to Granville a year later, in 1833, a new beginning. Many stones and much paperwork would have been ruined in the flood.

Looking at the few stones surviving, "Tirzah Lamb", was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in 1806, then, at South Hollow, a "Defier Lamb" in 1823, and a toddler called Mary Lamb in 1824, so just three pre-flood. In contrast, five Lambs were buried post-flood at Granville cemeteries, 1834 to 1839, beginning with an infant called Oscar Lamb.

There are two stones in Kingston/Granville with "Lamb" detected on them. no other name, no other dates.
