Kathleen Leroy Martin, age 88, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Southeast Health in Dothan.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 10, 2022, at 11:00 am at New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Henry County with Nick Martin officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Eufaula directing.. Visitation for Kathleen will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula from 4 until 6 pm.
Flowers will be accepted.
Kathleen was born on August 11, 1933, in Bakerhill the daughter of Moses Lawrence Leroy and Essie Lou Price Leroy. She was a loving person with a giving heart and would do anything for anybody if she thought she could help someone. She enjoyed cooking (especially cornbread), raising cats, gardening, working from home, and attending church. She was a member of Cross Baptist Church.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Martin, two sons, Jimmy Martin, James "Ball" Martin, daughter-in- law, Margo Jenkins and granddaughter Dana Trammell.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph Martin Jr. (Sherry), Danny Martin, three daughters, Cathy Trammell (Lee), Linda Greathouse, Charlene Jordan (Ervin), 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Asked to serve as pallbearers are Logan, Martin, Dylan Martin, Chris Starling, Anthony Powell, Joey Bell and Jeffery Bell.
