Cynthia L. Hoitink, 61, of 2533 Quaint Road, Falconer, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A Jamestown native, she was born Sept. 2, 1953, a

daughter of Marilyn Juel Arters and the late William Arters.

She was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother, who always looked out for others. She enjoyed going to bene-
fit dinners for those in need, auctions and caring for her animals. She was a member of the

Vikings, Herman Kent Post 777American Legion Auxiliary and Celoron Moose Lodge.

Surviving, besides her mother of Jamestown, is her husband, Jerrold Hoitink, whom she married in 1971; three children: Brian (Jessica) Hoitink of Falconer, Holly Hoitink of Falconer and Jill Piazza of Lakewood; three grandchildren: Nicolas Hoitink, Justin Patti and Andrew Piazza; and

two brothers: Douglas Arters and Jeffrey Arters, both of Jamestown.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Arters. The funeral will be held

at 2 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Al Meyers will officiate.

Burial will be in Allen Cemetery. Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
