VIRGINIA BEACH - Miss Ann Nivison Bradford Parks died June 21, 2002. She graduated from Maury High School in 1935 and Sweet Briar College in 1939.
During World War II, she entered the Naval Reserve and served in Norfolk and retired as a lieutenant commander. She was an active member of Old Donation Church and held several parish offices.
Miss Parks is survived by her two brothers, N. Gorham Parks of Pittsford, N.Y. and Littleton Walke Parks of Virginia Beach in addition to several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Old Donation Episcopal Church by the Rev. Erwin Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Old Donation Church, 4449 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23455. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
