Higginsville, Jan 31 – At the home of her son, Charles F. Helt on Saturday afternoon occurred the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Helt. She had been in failing health for a year. She was born in Germany in 1831 and for 66 years she had lived in the house where she passed away. She was a member of the German Lutheran Church at Churchville. Her husband, John Helt died 34 years ago. The following children survive; Mrs. William L Sipp, Blackman’s Corners; Mrs. Charlotte Andes and Mrs. Anthony Andes, Utica, John Helt, Higginsville; Mrs. Frank Smith, Utica; Charles Helt, Higginsville; George Helt, Towanda. There are also 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the church.
