Freddie Mae Raper Pierce, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center, hospice unit, after brief illness. She was born December 7, 1936 to Rev. Samuel Jackson "Jack" and Mildred Beatrice Dean Raper. She retired from Adcomm Graphics through MTD after twenty years of service. Freddie loved her church and family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an active member of Richmond United Pentecostal Church.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at First United Pentecostal Church, Verona on Palmetto Road with Rev. John McAlister, Rev. Danny Robbins, Rev. Josh Pierce and Rev. Ricky Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, E. C. Pierce (Rhonda) of Amory and Ricky Pierce (Linda) of Evergreen Community; one daughter, Jackie Baine of Tupelo; one sister, Becky McAlister (John) of Verona; four brothers, Harvey Raper (Martha) of Evergreen Community, Buck Raper of Corinth, John Raper (Charlotte) of Union Community and Danny Raper (Brenda) of Evergreen Community; grandchildren, Josh Pierce (Ashley), Brandi Brown (Anthony), Brittany Lewis (Mark) and Kala Pierce; great-grandchildren, Logan Brown, Paisley Lewis, Koltan Brown, Raigan Brown, Brileigh Lewis, Austin Pierce, Hudson Lewis and Asher Pierce, on the way, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Jack Raper and Beatrice Raper; one brother, Joe Raper; one sister, Mildred Annie Raper and one nephew, Bryan Holder.

Pallbearers will be Josh Pierce, Anthony Brown, Mark Lewis, Jonathan McAlister, Danny Raper, II and Ben Raper.

Visitation will be 5 until 9 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at the church and 12 until service time Saturday May 16, 2015 at the church.
