Delano Scheurer, 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on May 14, 2014 in a local hospital.
He was born on December 6, 1933 in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Robert and Kathryn (Muellerleile) Scheurer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for Warehouse Plus as a warehouseman. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Scheurer.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home chapel with burial with honors to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery.
He is survived by his three sons, Michael Scheurer and his wife Pam of Van Buren, AR, Patrick Scheurer and his wife Linda of Fort Smith, AR and Timothy Scheurer and his wife Danielle of Fort Smith, AR; one sister, Eileen Miller of Waseca, MN; three grandchildren, Matthew Scheurer and his wife Heather, Mallory Millican and her husband Jeff and Jennifer Becker and her husband Shawn all of Fort Smith, AR and one great grandson, Brody Becker.
A rosary will be held on Monday, May 18, 2014 at 6:00PM at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends following the rosary.
