Knotts Island - Betty J. Capps, 75 died December 17, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Capps was born in Knotts Island to the late Herman Guy Jones, Jr. and Virginia Dare White Jones. She enjoyed bowling and above all caring for her family. Mrs. Capps was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Capps; two sons, Kenny W. Thompson, Jr. and Herbert L. Thompson; and a brother, Robert Jones.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Wayne Allen Thompson, Belinda Jo Buck, Lorie Ann Thompson-Masters, and Elaine March, all of FL; brother, Gary Jones of Knotts Island; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
