Lyons, Mark Raymond
Mark Raymond Lyons, age 90, of Melrose, FL and Wellington, Ohio and formerly of Two Rivers, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2015, after a short illness.
Mark Lyons was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, on February 21, 1925, to Francis and Elizabeth VanCalligan Lyons.
He graduated from Washington High School, served in the U.S. Navy Air Force during World War II as a Radio Operator and returned to Milwaukee, where he attended Milwaukee's Spencerian School of Business. He married Elsiemay Bjork of Waukesha, WI, in 1948. They had one daughter, Sandra. Prior to retirement he owned Centennial Office Supplies. In 1989, his wife of 41 years precedes him in death. He married Phyllis Upton of Wellington, Ohio in 1990.
Preceding him in death was Elsiemay Lyons, his parents, and an older, brother Francis
Jr. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Phyllis, of Wellington, OH; his daughter, Sandra Lyons (Sam Evans) of Melrose, FL; a sister, Marcelyn (Ken) Kirchman of Two Rivers, WI; grandchildren, Ryan (Anette) Lyons-Evans of Boca Raton, FL; Rebecca Lyons-Evans of Keystone Heights, FL; and one great-granddaughter, Sienna Lyons-Evans; sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Bjork of Cambridge, WI; and Laverne Lyons of Two Rivers, WI; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration Of Life memorial is being planned at graveside at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers, WI, on July 11, 2015, at Noon for family and friends followed by a meal. Details to be determined.
