Elizabeth Lewis, eleventh child of David and Ann Lewis, was born in Bountiful, Utah on November 25, 1867. When Elizabeth was only three months old her mother passed away. The oldest boy in the family was 14 years of age and the oldest girl was 13. The girl cared for the children to the best of her ability, but with the baby being so small and her so young, her father's brother Enoch and his wife Jane Ann Lewis took Elizabeth and reared and cared for her. Here she lived and attended school until her marriage to Orson Cornia is the Salt Lake Temple. After their marriage and after the birth of their first child, they moved to Woodruff, Utah.

Her life was spent in rearing her children, and helping her husband on the ranch, and working in the church. Working in the Relief Society and other organizations. She was also the chaplain for the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for a good many years. AFter the death of her husband, she remained the rest of her life in Woodruff. She traded homes with her son Osro, as he had a large family and needed the larger home. She was known for her beautiful white hair. At the age of 71 on April 1, 1939, she passed away and was buried by the side of her husband in the Woodruff Cemetery. She was the mother of seven children; Orson Carter, Jane Ann, Osro Lewis, Clarissa, Thelma, Bessie and Mary.
