Harold D. Rowe
January 20, 1939 – May 11, 2015

“From God we come, So shall we return”

Harold D. Rowe passed away peacefully on Monday; May 11, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on January 20, 1939 in Pike County, Kentucky from the union of the late Alvin Rowe and Mary D. Rowe (Little).

Harold enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served honorably from July 2, 1958 to July 1, 1964. He settled in Rossford, Ohio with significant other and companion, Mary Eckman.

He is survived by four sisters: Josephine Hatton, Madelyn, Lauvern Boyd, and Lou (Mark) Lievens; one daughter: Vickie; two grandchildren: Noah and Faith; close friends including: Tim and Kennedy Eckman; all of his nieces and nephews; and a beloved canine friend: Dusty.

In addition to his parents, his passing was preceded by his step-father: Vernon Little; his brother Michael Little; and a beloved canine friend: Rusty.

Family members may attend his private burial on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11am, Luckey Cemetery, Luckey, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted with Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe (734) 384-5185.
