"Beverly B. Brinkman of Beach Lake, PA passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale, PA.
The daughter of the late James and Mary Brisk Stewart, she was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 16, 1923. She was 91 at the time of her death.
Beverly was a city girl who married a farmer. She was the widow of Carl Brinkman, who had passed away on December 17, 2002.
She was a member of Welcome Lake Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
A family statement reads: "Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to dance the jitterbug. She also enjoyed playing shuffle board. She took great pride in the home that they had and made their own.
She will truly be missed by all. Her heart was full of love."
She is survived by her one daughter Karen Hunt of Beach Lake, PA, her son: Edward Brinkman and his wife Barbara of Hampton, NH, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her husband Carl Brinkman, their twin grandsons, Jermey. and Joshua, and her ten siblings.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM and Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the Rasmussen Funeral Home 90 Main St., Narrowsburg, NY 12764.
Memorial Services will follow visitation on Sunday at 1 PM. Rev. Phyllis Haynes will officiate.
Donations can be made in Beverly's name to Welcome Lake Vol. Fire Dept.
