Mr. Huffaker was born October 11, 1883, in Woodruff, a son of Shelby and Sophia Neville Huffaker. He married Mary Ellen Dean June 8, 1905, in the Logan Temple. She died in 1942. He married Clara Nickerson Nicholls on June 5, 1957, In Logan.
She was a member of the LDS Woodruff Stake High Priest Quorum and National Woolgrowers Association. He was a former Rich County Commissioner and had been Mayor of Woodruff. He was a former president of the Woodruff Stock Association and Rich County Wool Marketing Association.
Survivng are his widow, two sons and three daughters, Wynn Huffaker, Lynn Huffaker, both of Woodruff; Mrs. Myrtle Spencer, Caldwell, Idaho; Mrs. Lyla Barney, Aurora, Utah; Mrs. Vyola Faddis, Evanston; two step-sons and a step-daughter, Fred Nicholls, Portland, Oregon; Don Nicholls, Woodruff; Mrs. Barbara Hoffman, Logan; 33 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Woodruff Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the family home tomorrow evening and Monday until services. Burial in Woodruff Cemetery, directed by the Bills Funeral Home, Evanston.
