ARCADIA – Ruth A. (Passmore) Blair, age 77, of Arcadia, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home in Tipton. She was born on December 12, 1937 in Syracuse, NY as the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Brown) Passmore.
She worked for Western Electric in Syracuse, NY for 17 years. Ruth loved spending time with her family and doing puzzles.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Cindy Ball of Bradenton, FL; son, John (Carrie) Blair of Arcadia, IN; brother, James (Sharon) Passmore of Spencer, NY; Marilyn Ferris of DeWitt, NY; four grandchildren, Cory, Jermey, Danielle, and Tyler; and one great-granddaughter, Aubrey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Anna (Brown) Passmore; sisters, Janet, Lois, Patricia, and Isabelle; and brothers, Alfred and Willard.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at White Chapel Memory Gardens, 940 Comstock Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210.
