Survivors include her children, Delores Payne (Lawrence), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Janice Spears (Earl), Darrow Johnson, (Tammy) and Jeffery Johnson (Vanessa) all of Zachary, Louisiana; step children, Leon Johnson (Gloria), Clinton, Louisiana, Freddie Johnson (Willie), Marino Valley, California, Henry Johnson (Virginia), Victorville, Louisiana and Nancy Merritt, Compton, California;
46 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren;
preceded in death by her husband, Eli Johnson; parents, a daughter; four siblings and eight stepchildren.
