Mrs. Rachel Collins born February 26, 1937 departed this life on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 78-years, 2-months, and 17-days old. Rachel was born in Brownsfork the daughter of the late Chester Lewis and the late Leona Wagers Lewis. Rachel was also preceded in death by her Husband, Bill Collins; Two Sons, Arthur Collins and William Collins; Four Brothers, Nick, Floyd, Junior and Willie Lewis; Sister, Sarah Baker; Two Son-In-Laws, William Brown and Rickey Couch. Rachel was a life-long resident of Perry County and was an Avid Quilt Maker.
Mrs. Rachel Collins leaves the following relatives surviving: Two Daughters, Wanda Couch of Brownsfork and Mary Brown of Brownsfork; Two Sisters, Betty Sue Richardson of Florida and Mae Baker of Lexington, KY; 7-Grandchildren, 13-Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Rachel Collins will be conducted on Saturday May 16, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on East Main Street with Merill David Collins officiating. The Interment will follow in the Lewis Cemetery at Brownsfork, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
