Patricia A. (Plecenik) Massey, 59, of Beaver, formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler. She was born May 17, 1955, in McKeesport, a daughter of Marie Greenewald Plecenik and the late Joseph Plecenik. Patricia was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School and a 1978 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. She had a 31 year career in hospital pharmacy and was employed by the Kettering Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio. Patti loved her work and the contact with the patients. She loved to read and do crafts, had several beloved pets and fostered many pets, enjoyed disco dancing, singing, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed traveling. She was a devoted and loving wife and enjoyed spending time with her grandson and family. She is survived by her beloved husband and soul mate, Scott Massey; sons, Andrew Linder and James Massey; daughter, Brittany Bouschard and her husband, Zachary; sisters, Karen Plecenik and JoAnn Mirise and her husband, Kevin; grandson, Declan Bouschard; nieces, Willow and Sunny Mirise; and nephew, Perrin Mirise. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
