KENNETH "KENNY" THOMAS VAUGHN
March 9, 1948 - May 7, 2015

Mr. Vaughn, 67, Wheatland, died at his home. He was born at Bolivar, the son of Carly Shears and Ora Ruth Hutchison Vaughn

He graduated from Wheatland High School and served in the U.S. Army for two years. He worked for the Frisco Railroad in Missouri and also worked as a cowboy in several feed yards throughout southwest Kansas.

He enjoyed being outdoors, raising horses, and spending time with family.

His parents, three brothers, and two sisters preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sisters, Donna, Faye, and Minnie; one brother, Dale; and four daughters, Lahoma Jones of Lenexa, Kan., and her son, Jalen, Tonya Vaughn of Gardner, Kan., and her sons, Kaleb and Cody, Sheila Santellano of Osceola and her son, Lucas, and daughters, Erica and Shaelyn, Tobie Allsbury of Garden City, Kan., and her son, Kaden, and daughters, Emilee and Samantha.

Celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Hathaway-Peterman Chapel, Wheatland with visitation from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Bro. Leroy Foltz will officiate with interment in Lindley Prairie Cemetery, Bear Creek, Mo.
