Carrol Coke Pearcy, 84, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Tulsa, Okla. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Bluff Dale Baptist Church, Bluff Dale. Memorials: Bluff Dale Baptist Church or Habitat for Humanity. Coke was born Dec. 22, 1927, in Bluff Dale. He married Henrietta Turley on Oct. 15, 1948. They moved their family to Tulsa in 1955 to work for American Airlines. He was active in church at Mingo Baptist, Harvard Avenue Baptist and Eastwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed many years of travel with the love of his life, Etta; she preceded him in death July 6, 2004, after 55 years of marriage. Survivors: His children and their spouses, Gary and Debbie Pearcy, Marilyn and Mark Polumbus, Pam and Richard Saltmarsh, and Mike and Michele Pearcy; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
