Carrie Lane Sullivan, 37, died peacefully on May 12, 2015 due to complications from pneumonia. She was born on November 13, 1977, in Pittsburg, KS, and moved to Olathe with her parents in 2008. She was a child with special needs, so sweet and trusting, and touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Survivors include her parents, Terry J. & Luci A. (Walters) Sullivan of Olathe; one sister, Jill Ney (Jeff) of Overland Park; two brothers, Jeff Sullivan (Amanda) of Lees Summit, and Ryan Sullivan (Melissa) of Shawnee; and eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula in Olathe. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 900 Honeysuckle Drive in Olathe, with Fr. Michael Hermes as celebrant. Her remains will be interred at Leavenworth National Cemetery in a private ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paul Memorial Fund or to Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Fund. Arrangements under the direction of McGilley & Frye Funeral Home- 913-782-0582.
