Sarah Levinia Brown Eastman was born 20 January 1895 in Woodruff, Rich County, Utah. She was the youngest child and only daughter of Ezra Brown and Sarah Neville Brown. She was not quite a month old when her mother Sarah died.
Sarah had two older brothers, William Ezra and Mariner Shelby.

Sarah married Cloyd Alberto Eastman in the Putnam Hall in Woodruff, Utah on December 21, 1914. The marriage was performed by President J. M. Baxter. To this union was born four daughters: Fern, Ivy, June and Mae.

The couple enjoyed square dancing and Cloyd died of a heart attack at a dance in Evanston, Wyoming and was buried in Evanston.

Sarah, along with her brother Mariner was chosen to be the Queen and King of the Woodruff Centennial Celebration in 1970. The brother and sister duo rode their horses in the Woodruff parade together for many years.

Sarah passed away in Woodruff, Utah on 26 February, 1980 and is buried in the Woodruff Cemetery.
