Doris C. Dunn, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 24, 2002. She was born March 13, 1920 in Pond, West Virginia, to Minora and William Frank Horn and had been a resident of Kerrville for 25 years.Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her husband Drue A. Dunn, and late husbands Robert B. Hill and Henry Furguson.She was a longtime member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Kerrville and had been an active member of Sid Peterson Hospitals auxiliary. In addition to her family, church and volunteer work, Doris had a passion for travel, delighting in new destinations around the world.Mrs. Dunn is survived by one daughter, Sarah Barnett and husband, Jack, of Pasadena, Texas two sons, Robert Hill and wife, Graci, of Dayton, Ohio and John Hill and wife, Jean, of Ponchatoula, Lousiana five grandchildren five greatgrandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.Family visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Kerrville Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at St. Pauls United Methodist Church on Methodist Encampment Rd. in Kerrville with interment following at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville.
