Mr. Fletcher was a native of Casper, Wyo., and lived in Hughson 12 years.
He worked as a manager and served in the Army during World War II, earning the Bronze Star.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Fletcher of Modesto; sons, Marvin R. Fletcher Jr. and Ricky V. Fletcher, both of Sacramento; brother, Ralph L. Hicks of Modesto; sisters, Toni Strobel and Norma D. Rhode, both of Sacramento; and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memorial Park.
